In general, limited civil cases are those in which the amount of money at issue is $35,000 or less. Rulings from limited civil cases are appealed to the Appellate Division of the Superior Court. (California Code of Civil Procedure §904.2; California Rules of Court 8.820 - 8.843)
You will want to do research to identify the grounds upon which you can base your appeal. The Library has resources to help you, and the Librarians and staff can assist you with locating them at our locations.
