This guide will assist in locating legal resources for wills, transfer on death deeds, advance health care directives, and designated beneficiaries in light of the COVID-19 crisis. They are not a substitute for legal advice. Laws change frequently, so check that the resources you use are up to date. Consult with an attorney if you need legal advice. San Diego Law Library is not affiliated with and does not refer patrons to any particular lawyer or law firm.

If you do wish to consult an attorney, the San Diego County Bar Association has a lawyer referral and information service you can use by calling (800) 464-1529 or emailing them at LRIS@sdcba.org.

Additionally, if you are in North San Diego County, the North County Bar Association also has a lawyer referral service you may use by calling 760-758-4755.
