Courage to Call

Courage to Call is a veteran-run, peer-to-peer support program in San Diego County. Our services are offered at NO COST to active and former military members, their families and loved ones. Courage to Call will connect you to former members of the military who understand the rigors of military life and who have already made the transition to civilian life.

Chat Hours Available 7 AM to 7 PM Monday – Friday

2-1-1 serves as the single access point for information, referrals, navigation, and ongoing care coordination for active duty military, veterans, and their immediate families.

U.S. Department of Labor - Website: Veterans Preference Information. Includes information about veteran’s preference, re-employment, and other employment related information for veterans.

Veterans Village of San Diego

VVSD has served all veterans since 1981 and is dedicated to

"Leave No One Behind."

With five locations throughout San Diego County, VVSD is the only program of its kind in the United States and is nationally recognized as the leader in serving homeless military veterans. Each year VVSD provides services to more than 3,000 military veterans throughout the County of San Diego.
