Introduction

Once you become a party to a lawsuit, either as the Plaintiff/Petitioner, or  Defendant/Respondent, you will be faced with a number of different "conferences." 

 This guide will help you understand the difference between the various conferences, what to expect, and how to prepare. Rules of Court and Civil Procedure are subject to change, so check that any resources you are using are up-to-date. Please consult with an attorney if you need legal advice.
